They will appear thinner when you first take them out of the bag! Shake them out and let them get air and they will fluff back up to normal size in about 20 minutes. Chandelle feathers do shed! They will initially shed a lot when you first take them out. ALL chandelle feather boas shed. You can minimize little fly-a-ways by using a light weight aerosol hairspray. Nothing heavy or sticky.
